This is the PERFECT activity for April Fools’ Day! This April Fools’ Day Word search activity is impossible to solve and disguised as a National Poetry Month Wordsearch. Your students won’t suspect anything out of the ordinary as they try to find the words associated with poetry in the word search.
Little do they know those words are no where to be found. They may however come across words like:
- BOGUS
- BUFFOONERY
- COUNTERFEIT
- FACTIOUS
- FARCE
- FUNNY
- GAG
- GAME
- HAHA
- HAPPYAPRILFOOLSDAY
- HOODWINKING
- HORSEPLAY
- JOKING
- KNOCKKNOCK
- SHENANIGAN
- TOMFOOLERY
- ……ETC……
The word search is available in 2 versions, 1 extremely difficult, the other simpler. Students will quickly find words like funny, game, and joker in the second version. A key is provided for the second version only. ***Every one of the 47 words can be found in the more difficult version it will just take more GRIT.
